One week full of events

In News

Barely released, the new Glowbl platform had the pleasure to host numerous events in the first week of February, reflecting the diversity of ways of using the interface. Let’s take a look back on several days full of action with the French Digital Council, Veolia, ARVHA and others.

That so many Glowbl users met online this week was without any doubt due to the new version of our platform… People probably came to discover and celebrate new features and design…

And even if this isn’t the reason for their coming, we were delighted to see that the broadcasted live events have evoked curiosity and the wish to interact with other people from the digital, training, music or even the architecture scene.

Because Glowbl has become an appreciated place for ARVHA (Association for Research on Urban Housing) to hold webconferences with members 100% online. Last Tuesday, on the 3rd of February, two free sessions were hold in order to approach the new rules of accessing public places, as this is an essential topic for architects and urbanists. More than 750 people were connected to listen to the architects’ and company representatives’ interventions. Afterwards, the participants answered questions from the public via chat, prooving the power of Glowbl concerning exchanges and interactions.

ARVHA has followed the example of the French Digital Council that has been supported by Glowbl to livestream the four “contributive days” of the national digital consultation. The last of those days has taken place in the presence of Axelle Lemaire, the secretary of state for digital economy, in Nantes, France on the 4th of February. While presentations and other restitutions followed, Glowbl played a role as an “open forum” receiving public messages per chat or Twitter to take part in the debate.

But that’s not all, this week we had the chance to collaborate with Veolia that chose Glowbl to broadcast the ceremony for Campus Veolia’s 20th anniversary, in the presence of French Prime Minister Manuel Valls. Campus Veolia is dedicated to lifelong training of Veolia’s employees all over the world.

Later that week, a webinar was organized to promote the Big Data 2015 show and Technopol led a free training session for musicians.

Do you want to join the next Big Data webinar? See you on the 10th of February at 4pm on http://www.glowbl.com/BigDataParis2015
