Across conferences, meetings and debates, the association ESDES Conference aims to make students of the French commerce and management school aware of economical, social and governmental issues of tomorrow.
Long-term collaboration between ESDES and Glowbl
Glowbl has been first used by the ESDES for more than a year for a purely educational use during a virtual school program with online marketing and finance lessons for students in 4th year. Now it’s the ESDES Conference student association that will organize online conferences.
They propose an innovative and interactive 100% online format, that makes it possible for all students to follow the sessions from wherever they are in 1 click on the dedicated URL: www.glowbl.com/esdesconferences
The idea of ESDES Conference is to program monthly qualitative events and make it possible for a maximum of students to follow the live & online interventions with influential personalities from the digital, employment and entrepreneurship sector from distance. One third of the time is dedicated to Q&As. The students can send their questions per chat while the speakers respond via video conference.
Successful first session with a digital strategy expert
Fabienne Billat, communication and digital strategy consultant, set the ball rolling with an intervention about the hidden sides of LinkedIn. The dedicated LiveStage has received 54 connections with an average connection time of 40 minutes. These are excellent statistics. The event welcomed even people outside of the ESDES as the association has chosen a public LiveStage. The hashtag #esdesconf allowed to viralize the session by tweeting directly from the platform.
