For the 3rd year Glowbl hosts the virtual networking workshops from the congress Big Data Paris

As key event for the promotion of the annual congress since the edition in 2014, the interactive workshops organized on Glowbl have received constantly more Big Data specialists, curious to discover latest innovations and to network online with giants like HP, Intel, Oracle, IBM and Dell. From January to Mars the organizing event agency of Big Data Paris, Corp Agency, gathers the Big Data community on its Glowbl LiveStage by inviting directly from all their communication channels. 31 tools and companies of the sector are presented within networking workshops and everyone can get informed exclusively about products and technologies that will be displayed in the Palais des Congrès in Paris on 7 and 8 of March.

4 weekly networking workshops dedicated to Big Data

Since the beginning of the year, Corp Agency, the organizer of Big Data Paris 2016, proposes an editorial online meeting on the LiveStage to offer the community a first meeting before the exhibition. For eight weeks, the generous program of 4 weekly workshops is planned on a virtual space which is accessible for free in one click. For 20 minutes an expert holds a speech from their office and presents their product, videos or slides to the connected audience, followed by a Q&A session with the participants who are directly identifiable on their social networks. In previous years some people have succeeded to get in touch with recruiting agents this way.

More than 1,500 people connected in 2015, 2016 has high potential

The dedicated LiveStage in 2015 registered the participation of 1,500 people interested by Big Data, a qualified audience on a specialized subject. In 2014 there were 1,200 participants to follow the presentations, interact in real time per chat or to network with other participants thanks to their social networks that are synchronized with Glowbl. The two first workshop sessions animated on the 13th and 20th January 2016 by Mellanox Technologies, Micropolem, Coheris, Sinequa, Ysance, MogoDb and Blue Soft already promise rising statistics with nearly 500 unique connections. Yassine El Manouar, Marketing and Communication Director of Big Data Paris, explains: “This allows us to deliver precise and relevant information via a channel that is off the beaten track, encouraging exchanges and interactions between the audience and our partners”.

Virtual networking workshops: promotion tools for the annual congress

The workshops constitute a marketing event for clients that invest in highlighting their activity. The pre-event webinar gives them the opportunity to do advertisements or teasing on what they will present on their booth. It is also the occasion to underline their expertise, legitimacy and brand image like it is the case for HP, Oracle, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Neo Technology and more.

With 3,200 visitors at the physical event in 2014 and 6,500 in 2015, the workshops participated in developing the reputation of Big Data Paris. And Yassine El Manouar adds: “This collaborative platform allowed us to make buzz around the Big Data Congress, before and during the event”.

The social webinars are free and accessible in one click every Wednesday at 4pm until 2 March 2016 on the dedicated LiveStage:
