On April 29, 2025, Glowbl is doing some spring cleaning—clearing the clutter from your screen (and maybe even your mind)—to unveil its brand-new interface!
This new design “steps back” to become a natural space for collaboration: cleaner, yet more complete. It ensures participants can get started quickly, while offering facilitators greater efficiency and a more comfortable user experience.
Co-designed with our users, this redesigned interface is built to save time and improve ease of use.
The makeover also comes with a dedicated Help Center on our website, where you’ll find all the tutorials you need—plus tips and inspiration for every type of session.
And why not become a source of inspiration yourself?
More details in the rest of this article:
- Smoother navigation: everything happens at the bottom of your screen
- Access all facilitation tools at a glance: the blue briefcase next to the instructions!
- Learn and get inspired: welcome to the Help Center.
Smoother navigation: all buttons are now grouped at the bottom of your screen

It will stand out… by being gone! The top horizontal bar has disappeared, giving more space to participant bubbles and shared content.
In Expand Content mode, the increase in screen space is even more noticeable.
What’s new with the bottom horizontal bar:
🟢 New placement of essential buttons
The microphone, camera, and raise hand buttons are now grouped together on the bottom bar.
This new layout makes it easier to access camera and microphone settings, thanks to small chevrons built directly into their buttons — for quicker, more intuitive adjustments.
🔵 New content sharing button

Normally, to share content on a table, you need to hover over the table and click the blue plus.
It’s a gesture that occasional Glowbl users sometimes forget.
Now, the blue plus has its own shortcut—located between the microphone and raise hand buttons.
Simply click it to open the content menu and choose the document you want to project onto the table you’re on.
Note: the Table Library, which lets you browse through the content projected on the table, is still available when you hover over the relevant table.
🗒️ Quick access to Personal Notes
The Personal Note lets you take notes without leaving Glowbl.
It’s especially useful during individual reflection phases before group discussions, or when a participant is acting as the note-taker during an activity.
Following a poll we shared on our LinkedIn account, the Personal Note has now moved out of the Blue Briefcase and found a new home directly on the bottom bar—right next to the Live Chat.
🖼️ Manage your settings from your profile picture

Your profile picture, now located in the bottom right corner of your screen, becomes a real control center allowing you to:
- return to your dashboard
- edit your profile and preferences
- receive maintenance alerts or Glowbl updates
- access the Help Center and resources
- log out
📩 Invite from the Participants tab

If you’re a host or space administrator, the Invite button has now moved to the Participants tab in the bottom right corner of your screen.
This is a logical change, since it’s where you manage your participant list.
As a reminder, this button allows you to: assign co-hosts, copy and share the access link by email to invite others into your space, grant or block access to the space
You can also change the role of a participant already present in a space directly from the Participants tab, by clicking the three dots next to their name.
Access facilitation tools at a glance: the blue briefcase next to the instructions!

Over time, Glowbl has added many facilitation tools… sometimes too well hidden in the blue briefcase at the bottom right of your screen.
As these tools have become increasingly essential, it’s time to make them more accessible. That’s why we’re replacing the blue briefcase with a discreet vertical sidebar on the right side of the screen.
The tools are now always visible by default but can be hidden with a single click on the chevron.
This new vertical layout offers smoother navigation between tools, which have also been harmonized: action buttons and access to history or summaries are now located at the bottom of each tab.
Note: Only hosts and space administrators have access to this sidebar, ensuring an even cleaner interface for participants.
Learn and get inspired: welcome to the Help Center
Our tutorials have also been given a fresh new look — and, most importantly, all our resources are now centralized on a new page of our website: the Help Center.
In addition to core features, you’ll also find:
- A dedicated page for your participants — it brings together all essential features, a 3-minute video, and connection recommendations. Include this page in your invitations to help your participants arrive prepared and stress-free.
- Guides tailored to your use cases.
- A list of updates refreshed with every new release. You can access it directly on the Glowbl platform via the Help section under your profile picture.
- Two galleries curated by the Glowbl team and our ambassadors — one for downloadable layouts, and another for ready-to-use session templates.
Want to showcase your own creations? Quick submission forms are available!
Just a few more days to wait — the transformation goes live on April 29!
Our ambassadors got a sneak peek last week, and you can check out their first impressions on our LinkedIn page.
We’d love to hear your thoughts too — feel free to reach out on social media or by email!
🌸 Happy spring to all!
And with our new interface, we hope your brain stays fresh for hunting Easter eggs — not hunting for buttons! 🐣🧺🌷
